Festival Stage 2027

Stockach / Pilton (UK), 2027.

What remains an unreachable dream for many musicians is becoming reality for STOLEN, the four-piece rock band from Stockach, Germany: they’ve officially been confirmed to play at the legendary Glastonbury Festival 2027.
On one of the festival’s major stages, they will perform their song “Glastonbury” live – the very track that caught the festival management’s attention in the first place.

From Song to Festival Stage

The story sounds almost too good to be true. After STOLEN released their song “Glastonbury” last year – a heartfelt, atmospheric homage to the British festival and its unique spirit – the festival’s management team took notice. In the song, the band sings:

“Flags unfurl, banners we’ll raise, The Green Fields we cross to Pilton Palais, Holy, Worthy Farm given for these days.”

A Dream Come True

These lyrics, paired with a captivating melody and an emotionally charged performance, evidently struck a chord with the Glastonbury bookers. Just a few weeks after the song’s release, the band’s manager, Chris, received a surprise email from England.
Inside: an official invitation to perform the song live on the Glastonbury Festival grounds in Pilton, Somerset, in 2027.

“We couldn’t believe it at first,” says frontman Jürgen. “Glastonbury has always been the ultimate goal for us – the place where music history is made.” For STOLEN, this performance represents not only a breakthrough onto the international stage but also the fulfilment of a long-held dream. The band plans to put together a special set that showcases their musical range – with “Glastonbury” as the emotional highlight.

Manager Chris adds:
“The fact that this very song – which expresses our love for music and for this festival – is what got us there is just magical. It shows that authenticity and passion always find their way.”

The Song: A Love Letter to Worthy Farm

With “Glastonbury”, STOLEN have written an anthem celebrating festival spirit, community, and freedom. Lines like

“God, I feel so strong, Glastonbury”

perfectly capture what so many festival-goers feel there – that sense of belonging, of finally being “where I belong”.
With driving guitar riffs, rich harmonies, and an emotionally open vocal line, the song has all the makings of a modern festival classic.

And Now, the Honest Footnote

As wonderful as this story sounds – it hasn’t happened (yet). But: it could. Because the song “Glastonbury” is real – and who knows where STOLEN’s musical journey might lead next?

Glastonbury - Songtext

Flags unfurl, Banners we’ll raise,
The Green Fields we cross to Pilton Palais,
Holy, Worthy Farm given for these days.

The Crowd is a sea all colors they drop,
our Summer is Set (Somerset), in Pilton it pops.
Holy, Worthy Farm given for these days.

Chorus
This is where I belong.
my feet I’m sure they will carry.

God, I feel so strong,
God, I feel so strong,
Glastonbury

Icons where made,a rich tapestry
that never will fade, for you nor for me
Holy, Worthy Farm given for these days.

Glasto‘s soul is woven in time,
With every heartbeat, it echoes the rhyme.
Holy, Worthy Farm given for these days.

The crowd’s alive, the beat in my chest,
At Glasto, I want to find my best.
Stand where the legends once did play,
To mark this blessed day.
